MIKE SHADRACK – RENOWNED INTERNATIONAL HOSTA EXPERT

Since finishing his career with The Metropolitan Police and Scotland Yard, Mike Shadrack has become a world-renowned hosta expert growing, hybridizing and photographing them since 1986.
Before coming to America, he was very active in the British Hosta and Hemerocallis Society and has been involved in the Chelsea Flower Show. He now works with Bowden Hostas as a consultant. An avid photographer speaker, and author, Mike is the co-author of three respected hosta volumes and distributes his time between Buffalo, New York and London. Cultivars named in his honor include H.‘Mike Shadrack’ from Bob Kuk.
